The Poem

In the heart of a garden, where the wildflowers grow,

Seasons come dancing, with a rhythm and flow.

Spring whispers soft secrets, with petals so bright,

As sunshine awakens the world from the night.

Summer bursts in laughter, with skies oh so blue,

Ice cream and picnics, and friends old and new.

The sun shines so brightly, on fields full of cheer,

While children are playing, with no hint of fear.

Then autumn arrives, with its cloak of rich gold,

The leaves start to tumble, as stories unfold.

Harvest time brings treasures, from the earth so kind,

Pumpkins and apples, in baskets we find.

Winter wraps the garden in a blanket of white,

With frosty the snowman, a wonderful sight.

The world becomes quiet, as the stars start to gleam,

And all of the children drift off into dreams.

The seasons keep turning, like pages in a book,

Each one has its magic, if we stop and look.

From flowers in springtime, to winter’s cold kiss,

Nature’s a teacher, and we learn from this.

So let us remember, as seasons do change,

Life is like the weather, it can feel so strange.

Embrace every moment, both sunny and grey,

For every new season brings a brand new day.
