The Journey of a Dream
In the heart of a forest, where tall trees grow,
A young dreamer wandered, with thoughts all aglow.
She followed a pathway, so winding and wide,
With hopes in her heart and her eyes open wide.
The sun peeked through branches, a warm, golden ray,
As she danced with the shadows, and chased clouds away.
“Where will my journey take me today?” she mused,
With a smile on her face, her spirit infused.
Suddenly, a whisper came soft on the breeze,
“Adventure awaits you, just follow the leaves.”
With courage as her compass, she took a deep breath,
And stepped into magic, ignoring all fret.
Through meadows of flowers, with colours so bright,
She twirled and she laughed, what a beautiful sight!
The daisies were nodding, the violets sang,
A symphony of nature, where joy brightly rang.
But soon came a challenge, a river so wide,
With waters that sparkled, it glimmered with pride.
“How will I cross it?” the dreamer did ponder,
As she sat on the bank, her thoughts began to wander.
Then out of the water, a wise old frog spoke,
“To cross this great river, you must first learn to hope.
Look at the stones, how they balance and stay,
One step at a time, you’ll find your own way.”
With patience and courage, she leapt from the shore,
Each stone felt like magic, she wanted to soar.
And soon she was dancing on the other side,
With laughter and joy, she could no longer hide.
Next came a mountain, so tall and so steep,
With shadows that lengthened, and secrets to keep.
“You must climb with your heart, and believe in your dreams,
For nothing is harder than it truly seems.”
Up, up she climbed, with determination so strong,
The path was not easy, but she felt she belonged.
With each little step, she grew braver, more wise,
Until she stood proudly, beneath endless skies.
At the top of the mountain, a view to behold,
The world stretched before her, bright and bold.
With valleys and rivers, and forests so deep,
Her heart filled with wonder, her spirit would leap.
She knew from that moment, her dreams could take flight,
With hope as her anchor, and courage as light.
So she turned to the forest, to the path she had trod,
And whispered a thank you, to the universe and God.
Now every young dreamer, who follows their heart,
Can find their own journey, a beautiful start.
For life is an adventure, a treasure to seek,
With lessons in kindness, and strength in the meek.
