1. A Letter to My Future Self

Dear Future Me,

I hope this letter finds you in great spirits! Right now, I am in Year 6, and life is quite an adventure. I wonder what you are up to! What job do you have? Do you still enjoy reading? I hope you’re still as curious about the world as I am.

Let me tell you about my life at the moment. I have just finished reading a fantastic book called “Harry Potter”, and it has sparked my imagination! I dream of going to Hogwarts and discovering magical creatures. Have you ever been to a magical place since then? Maybe you’ve travelled to far-off lands or met fascinating people.

I hope you remember to always chase your dreams and never give up. Remember that time I was scared to try out for the school play? I hope you’ve done something brave since then. I want you to be confident and take chances, just like I am trying to do now.

Please write back to me someday. I’d love to know everything about your life! Until then, keep being amazing!

Best wishes,

Your Past Self

2. A Letter to a Friend

Dear Sarah,

How are you? I can’t believe we are already halfway through the school year! It feels like just yesterday we were in the playground at break time, sharing our snacks and laughing together.

I wanted to tell you about the science project we’re doing in class. We are studying the solar system, and I have chosen to research Mars! Did you know that Mars is known as the Red Planet? I have been reading so much about it, and I find it fascinating. I can’t wait to share my findings with you.

We should definitely meet up this weekend. Maybe we can go to the park and have a picnic? I’ll bring my famous sandwiches, and you can bring your delicious cookies! We can also play on the swings and see who can go the highest.

Let me know if you can come. I miss hanging out with you and can’t wait to catch up!

Take care and see you soon!

Love,

Emily

3. A Letter to My Teacher

Dear Mr Johnson,

I hope you are having a wonderful day! I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for everything you do for us in class. Your lessons are always engaging, and I truly enjoy learning from you.

Recently, I found the history project you assigned very interesting. I chose to research the Ancient Egyptians, and I was amazed to learn about their pyramids and mummies. I appreciate how you encourage us to think critically and explore topics that interest us.

I also wanted to ask if you could recommend any books about ancient civilisations. I would love to read more about this subject and expand my knowledge.

Thank you for being an inspiring teacher. I look forward to learning more from you this year!

Sincerely,

Tom

4. A Letter to a Character in a Book

Thank you for showing me that friendship is important and that it’s okay to be different. You inspire me to be brave and to stand up for what is right. I hope to read more about your adventures soon!

Best wishes,

5. A Letter to Mother Nature

Dear Mother Nature,

I hope this letter reaches you well! I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the beauty you bring to our world. The trees, flowers, and animals all make our planet a wonderful place to live.

As a Year 6 student, I am learning about the environment and how we can help protect it. I want to do my part to keep our Earth clean and green. I’ve started recycling at home and using less plastic. I hope others are doing the same!

Please keep inspiring us to care for nature. I promise to keep spreading awareness about the importance of taking care of our environment.

With love and respect,

Emma

Dear Santa,

How are you? I hope you and the reindeer are doing well at the North Pole! I can hardly believe that Christmas is just around the corner. I have been trying my best to be good this year, helping my parents and being nice to my little brother.

For Christmas this year, I would love to receive a new bicycle. Mine is getting a bit too small, and I really enjoy riding around the park. I also want to ask for some books because I love reading and discovering new stories.

Thank you for all the joy you bring to children around the world. I will leave some cookies and milk out for you on Christmas Eve. I hope you have a safe journey delivering gifts!

Merry Christmas!

Love,

Oliver
