The Story

Once upon a time, in a small village, there was a girl named Lily. Lily loved to explore. One sunny afternoon, she decided to visit the old garden behind her house. The garden was overgrown and filled with tall grass and wildflowers.

As Lily stepped into the garden, she noticed something shiny beneath a bush. Curious, she bent down and found a small key. “I wonder what this unlocks,” she thought. Excited, she looked around the garden.

Suddenly, she spotted a tiny door at the base of an enormous oak tree. It was covered in vines and looked very old. “Maybe this key opens that door!” she exclaimed.

Lily rushed over and inserted the key into the lock. It turned easily, and the door creaked open. Inside, she found a magical world! The sky was a brilliant shade of purple, and the flowers sparkled like jewels.

In this magical place, Lily met a friendly rabbit named Benny. “Welcome to the Enchanted Garden!” Benny said with a smile. “We’ve been waiting for someone like you!”

“Waiting for me?” Lily asked, puzzled.

“Yes! We need your help,” Benny explained. “Our garden is losing its magic because the Crystal Flower has been stolen by the Grumpy Troll who lives on the other side of the river.”

Lily felt brave. “I will help you get the Crystal Flower back!”

Benny led Lily to the river. They crossed a wobbly bridge and reached the troll’s cave. The troll was big and had a frown on his face. “What do you want?” he grumbled.

“We want the Crystal Flower back!” Lily said firmly.

The troll crossed his arms. “I will give it back, but only if you can answer my riddle.”

“Okay,” replied Lily. She was ready for the challenge.

The troll asked, “What has keys but can’t open locks?”

Lily thought hard. Suddenly, she shouted, “A piano!”

The troll looked surprised. “Correct! You can take the Crystal Flower.”

Lily and Benny hurried back to the Enchanted Garden. They placed the Crystal Flower in the centre of the garden. Instantly, the flowers shimmered brighter, and the sky turned a beautiful blue.

“Thank you, Lily!” Benny cheered. “You saved our garden!”

Lily smiled, feeling proud. She knew she would always remember her magical adventure.

With a wave goodbye, Lily stepped back through the tiny door and locked it behind her. She placed the key in her pocket, ready for her next adventure.
