A Short Story: “The Brave Little Turtle”
Once upon a time, in a sparkling blue sea, there lived a little turtle named Tommy. Tommy was not like other turtles. He was curious and loved to explore!
One sunny day, Tommy decided to swim beyond the coral reef. He had heard stories about a magical island where the sand was as soft as clouds and the fruit was sweeter than anything he had ever tasted. “I want to see this island!” he thought excitedly.
As he swam, Tommy met many sea creatures. He saw a friendly dolphin named Daisy. “Where are you going, Tommy?” Daisy asked. “I’m off to find the magical island!” Tommy replied. Daisy smiled and said, “Can I come with you?”
Together, they swam through the shimmering water, over beautiful corals, and past schools of colourful fish. After a long journey, they finally saw the magical island in the distance. It sparkled in the sunlight!
When they reached the shore, they were amazed! The sand was soft and white, just like a fluffy cloud. They found trees filled with delicious fruit. Tommy and Daisy played all day, splashing in the waves and enjoying the tasty fruit.
As the sun began to set, Tommy said, “This is the best adventure ever! I’m so glad I came!” Daisy nodded in agreement. They promised to return to the magical island whenever they could.
And so, Tommy the turtle learned that being brave and curious could lead to wonderful adventures!
