In a lush green garden, where flowers bloom bright,
Lived Timmy the Tortoise, a curious sight.
With a shell that was sturdy and feet that were slow,
He dreamed of adventures, to places unknown.
One sunny morning, with a gleam in his eye,
Timmy thought, “Today’s the day! I will try!”
He packed up his snacks — some leaves and some fruit,
And waved to the rabbits, all dressed in their suits.
“Where are you going, dear Timmy?” they said,
“I’m off on an adventure!” he cheerfully led.
The rabbits just chuckled, “Oh, Tortoise, you’ll see,
It’s best to stay here, where it’s safe as can be.”
But Timmy felt brave, and he promised to roam,
To find out the world beyond his sweet home.
With every slow step, he felt the sun’s glow,
His heart filled with joy, as he started to go.
He wandered through flowers, so vibrant and fair,
Met a wise old owl, perched high on a chair.
“Good day, little Timmy! What brings you around?”
“I’m seeking adventure!” he said with a bound.
“Adventure is great,” the old owl replied,
“But take care, young Tortoise, don’t let fear hide.
The world can be tricky, full of ups and downs,
Stay true to yourself, ignore all the frowns.”
Timmy thanked Owl and continued his way,
Through meadows and streams where the children would play.
He saw butterflies dance, and bees buzzing low,
Each sight was a treasure, a new thing to know.
As the sun dipped low, and the sky turned to gold,
Timmy realized he was starting to feel old.
He found a soft spot beneath a grand tree,
And settled down softly, feeling so free.
In dreams, Timmy traveled to places afar,
Riding on clouds and chasing a star.
He woke with a smile, and the sun shining bright,
“Today I will wander, and everything’s right!”
He met a young squirrel, who offered a nut,
“Join me, dear Timmy, let’s share in our luck!”
They laughed and they played, under skies so blue,
With each passing hour, new friends only grew.
As the day turned to dusk, and stars filled the night,
Timmy felt grateful for all that was right.
He made his way home, with a heart full of cheer,
For every adventure brought new friends near.
So, if you feel nervous, or think you can’t dare,
Remember dear Timmy, and how he would share.
With courage and kindness, the world’s yours to see,
Just take one small step, and you’ll soon be free!
